AI Interviewer ("we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our AI-powered interview platform. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, organization name, password (hashed), and billing information when you register.

Interview data: Survey configurations, interview transcripts, AI-generated analysis, and metadata (timestamps, session duration, goal completion status).

Respondent data: Messages submitted by interview respondents. We do not require respondents to create accounts or provide personal identification unless configured by the survey creator.

Usage data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage for analytics and service improvement.

Cookies: Session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

  • AI providers (Anthropic): Interview content is sent to our AI provider for processing. Anthropic's data handling policies apply to this processing.
  • Infrastructure providers: Hosting and database services necessary to operate the platform
  • Payment processors: Billing information for subscription management

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and organization-scoped data isolation ensuring each customer's data is segregated.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion. Interview data is retained according to your plan and settings. You may delete individual interviews or entire surveys at any time. Upon account termination, all data is deleted within 30 days.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing
  • Data portability — export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest

9. Respondent Privacy

If you are a respondent (someone participating in an AI interview), your conversation data is collected by the organization that created the survey. That organization is the data controller for your interview data. We act as a data processor on their behalf. Contact the survey creator for questions about how your interview data is used.

10. International Transfers

Data may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses where required by GDPR.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
